1. Environmental protection of the material itself
The main component of silicone belts is silicon dioxide. Silicone does not contain harmful substances such as plasticizers, bisphenol A, and heavy metals. It has been certified that the product can directly contact human skin and food, and will not release toxic substances after long-term use. Silicone can be gradually degraded into harmless silicon dioxide and water vapor through microbial action in the natural environment. When burned, only silicon dioxide and water vapor are produced, and no toxic substances are emitted, which meets environmental protection requirements. Silicone has a wide temperature tolerance range (-40℃ to 230℃), is aging-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and has a service life of more than 10 years, which is higher than that of plastic products, reducing the waste of resources caused by frequent replacement.
2. Product recycling advantages
The production of silicone belts does not require high temperature and high pressure processes, and the energy consumption is lower than that of traditional plastic products. In addition, the raw materials are extracted from natural minerals (such as silica sand), reducing the product's dependence on petroleum. Waste silicone can be converted into renewable resources such as silicone oil and rubber through pyrolysis. Some manufacturers have established a recycling system to achieve closed-loop production. Silicone belts replace plastics and traditional leather conveyor belts, which is in line with the concept of green development. The surface of the silicone belt is easy to clean, mildew-proof and antibacterial, reducing the use of chemical cleaning agents.
3. Good chemical stability
The silicone conveyor belt has good chemical stability, can withstand the corrosion of strong acids, strong alkali solvents and grease, and is suitable for special environments such as chemical, electroplating, and pharmaceuticals. The product is not easy to age or crack under high ozone concentration or variable outdoor climate, and the service life can reach more than 10 years. The silicone layer combined with the polyester skeleton has a wear resistance of more than 3 times that of traditional materials, reducing the frequency of conveyor belt replacement. The silicone belt has good elasticity and is not easy to deform or break when bearing heavy loads (such as car tires), while adapting to complex conveying paths.
